Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is an action-packed stealth game that puts you in control of the deadly assassin known as Agent 47.

Even though the original Hitman title was a commercial success, it did have some distinct drawbacks. The stealth missions in the game seemed extremely linear, and players had to follow very specific protocols if they wanted to be successful. In Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, the gameworld has opened up, and you can use a wide variety of tactics and strategies to achieve your goals. This game also has an excellent storyline that is going to keep you on your toes until the very end.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin once again puts you in control of Agent 47, a deadly assassin who works for a powerful international organization. In each mission, you will be required to kill off high-profile targets all over the world. To carry out those assassinations successfully, you must come up with elaborate plans that utilize many different tools and weapons. What sets this game apart from its predecessor is the fact that you no longer have to use stealth in every mission. Even though the game rewards you for being stealthy, you can run into almost every mission with guns blazing.

Another feature that sets this game apart from its predecessor is the improved save state system. Each mission has a certain number of available save slots, and you must be very strategic with your saves if you want to pull off successful assassinations. As the missions become more difficult, your save slots are going to dwindle, and that forces you to carefully consider every single movement, action, and tactic.
